Runners, walkers, and fall festival lovers are invited to lace up their sneakers for the 4th Annual Chasing the Legend 5K Run/Walk, taking place Saturday, Oct 25 at 9 a.m. as part of Easton’s Free Spirit Festival.

Co-hosted by Easton Parks & Recreation, the Easton Town Cemetery Committee, and Christ Church Easton, the event promises more than just a race . It’s a celebration of fitness, family fun, and local history.

Participants will make their way through a scenic 5K route along North Park Avenue, with the crisp autumn foliage as a backdrop and historic tidbits about Easton shared along the way.

In addition to the main race, the festival will feature a lineup of family-friendly activities:

  • Kids’ fun run and shuttle run (ages 12 and under)
  • Bounce house, supervised by Easton Parks & Recreation
  • Pumpkin painting, co-hosted by the Easton Arts Council
  • Free apples, courtesy of Silverman’s Farm
  • Story Time at the Easton Public Library, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Costumes are encouraged for both kids and adults, adding to the festive spirit, though they are not required. Race T-shirts are available for $15 with online registration.

Please note: The event will take place rain or shine. Registration is online only and will remain open until 15 minutes before the race begins.
