Pride Flag Raising and Community Celebration Held at Town Hall

Easton Pride Kicks Off Pride Month with Three Events on June 1 

Easton Pride is happy to announce three events planned for June 1, the first day of Pride Month.

Town Purchases New Flagpole to Fly Pride Flag  

The town has approved the raising of the Pride flag on a newly purchased flagpole to fly in front of Town Hall during Pride Month in June.

Pride Flag Will Fly at Town Hall

The Board of Selectmen voted 2-1 to hold the LGBTQ+ Pride flag raising ceremony on Friday, June 25 at 5 p.m. Selectmen Bindelglass and Lessler voted in favor and Selectwoman Sogofsky abstained. The flag will fly until sundown on June 28.

Will Pride Flag Fly in Front of Easton Town Hall?

June is designated as LGBTQ+ Pride Month and the Board of Selectmen will determine how and where a flag-raising ceremony will occur in town this year when it meets on Thursday, June 17 at 7:30 p.m. The agenda is available here.
