In Easton, residents have the luxury of taking leisurely strolls, hikes and runs without encountering proximity to others.
But many university students have returned home to apartments and communities where maintaining social distance is more difficult.
As part of a remote assignment for their Advertising and Public Relations class, Sacred Heart University students created print public service announcements and fliers to address many of the challenges their classmates and families are facing in confinement.
The students had a free hand in their approach and the results reflected a range of attitudes and feelings about the difficult learning environment they are navigating, as well as the physical and emotional toll the virus is taking on them and their families.
The participants wanted to offer viewers of all ages a bit of relief, insight and a touch of humor.
