Misdemeanor Summons / Arrests

On October 27, 2020, the EPD received a call from the victim of a motor vehicle accident reporting that her car was just rear ended, and the other driver drove away. The victim followed the motor vehicle and was able to obtain the plate number. The driver admitted being involved in the car accident and driving away because he was scared.  He was issued a Misdemeanor Summons and released on a Promise to Appear in court of Friday, November 6, 2020 to answer to the following charges:

  • Evading Responsibility
  • Operating Under Suspension
  • No Insurance
  • Following too Closely

Two Disorderly Conduct Arrests:

On Friday, October 29, 2020 a call was received by a neighbor, requesting assistance between two parties that were arguing next door.  Both parties admitted to the officers on scene, to arguing and allowing it to get out of hand. The offenders/victims were issued Misdemeanor Summons’ for Disorderly Conduct and given a court date of Monday, November 2, 2020.
