The Easton registrars of voters will hold a public lottery pursuant to state statutes Secs. 9-253 and 9-453r, on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, at 2 p.m. The lottery will determine the order of names for multiple office openings for the upcoming municipal election scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021.
The lottery will be held in the main Town Hall conference room. Anyone wishing to observe the lottery must be on time, wear a mask, per Town Hall rules, and maintain safe distance from others in attendance. The designated order will be reflected on all ballots for the Nov. 2, 2021 election.
