Candidate Bio
Devon and her husband, Jud, have lived in Easton for more than five years with their three children, Lewis, Robert, and Oliver. She is a lifelong educator who earned an undergraduate degree in History from Princeton University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas. Professionally, she started her career as a high school social studies educator teaching in New Jersey. She left the classroom in 2007, and has worked in curriculum leadership for the last 14 years.
For the last 4.5 years, Devon has served as the Vice President of Academics at the FullBloom Organization, overseeing curriculum development, assessment, instructional excellence, and instructor training. She currently sits on the Easton Board of Education, serving on the Curriculum and Joint Wellness committees and the DEI Task Force. She is a strong advocate for school funding, keeping class sizes small, and innovations like STEM and Coding. In addition to serving on the Board of Education, Devon is also on the board of the Easton Community Center, a room parent at Samuel Staples Elementary School, and an AYSO soccer coach.
