As an Easton native, I know first-hand that a childhood in Easton is a gift.  It has been my honor to serve on the Easton Board of Education for the past six years, working to ensure that part of a childhood in Easton includes an excellent, caring, responsive, and joyful education.  My husband, Drew, and I made Easton our grown-up home in 2013, and together, in our respective volunteer work, enjoy keeping Easton’s children, families and esteemed faculty close at heart.

After graduating from JBHS, I attended Miami University in Ohio, where I studied botany.  I traveled abroad, had work experiences in landscape architecture and design in London, Nantucket and Fairfield County, and eventually followed in the footsteps of my family and pursued a career in education.  I taught middle school science in Bridgeport, biology at New Canaan High School, and recently began teaching closer to home at Trumbull High School.

Our children, Piper, grade 1, and Drew, grade 4, attend Samuel Staples Elementary School and are active in sports, music, art, and scouting.  We love the outdoors, traveling to Cape Cod and Vermont, and spending time with family and friends.

I would like to thank the citizens and families of Easton for the privilege of being part of your Board of Education.  I look forward to continuing the important work of caring for our children and community with love, high expectations and stewardship, to ensure that our outstanding schools continue to thrive.  Blessings to everyone during this beautiful autumn season.
