Anne Hughes works tirelessly for everyone she represents in Easton, Weston and Redding. Whether working on legislation in Hartford or listening to citizen’s concerns at home, Anne is working for you. Anne strives to keep her constituents informed of activities in Hartford as well as locally.

Oct 27: A reminder to teachers, nurses, government/non-profit employees, and veterans of the deadline to apply for a limited time waiver under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
Oct 26: Information on how to get help in applying for health insurance via Access Health CT.
Oct 17: The process of applying for the Student Loan Debt Relief program.
Oct 8: Information about the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) Safe Connect project that helps victims of domestic violence. Announcement that the US Dept. of Agriculture has made farmers eligible for federal assistance due to the recent drought.
Sep 30: Announcing Lachat Town Farm’s final farmer’s market of the season and the Friend’s of the Easton Library annual book sale.
Sep 22: News that Easton, Redding, and Weston received state funding totaling $947,856 for various capital improvement projects.
Sep 15: Announcing passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the first meaningful gun safety legislation in three decades.
