Are you proud of your holiday-decorated home? Show it off for others to enjoy by signing for Easton PTO’s “Light Up Easton” and they will place your home on their website along with a map available at the Easton Library with other Easton homes decked out for the holidays.

“Light Up Easton” launched as a small, Covid-conscious fundraiser and community builder during the pandemic. The response was so great, the event is now in its third year. The Easton PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) serves two schools, Samuel Staples Elementary School and Helen Keller Middle School.

“We were delighted by the heartwarming response,” said Elizabeth Bailey, Samuel Staples Elementary School PTO co-president. “Providing an opportunity for our students and families to connect with the larger community while gifting them the beauty of Easton’s holiday spirit, is ultimately a gift to us all.”

This year the event is entirely free and more accessible for the entire community to enjoy. The PTO is partnering with the Easton Garden Club and the Easton Public Library to reach more community members.

Easton residents are invited to register their homes by Dec. 16 at eastonctpto.com to be placed on a Holiday Tour Map. Maps will be available on Dec. 17 on the PTO website and at the Easton Library.

Residents are also welcome to vote on their favorites home in several fun categories. Voting will close on Dec. 31 and the winner will be announced on Jan. 1.
