The Easton Board of Finance will hold a public budget hearing on March 27 at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria at Samuel Staples Elementary School to present the itemized estimated expenditures for fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 20, 2024, including a five-year Capital Project Plan.
The public is invited to attend the hearing.
The Board of Finance has been holding meetings and reviewing budget requests from all town departments for several weeks to prepare the budget. It has schedule additional meetings on March 28, 29 and April 4 to make adjustments before a final budget goes to a referendum vote on May 2. A Town Meeting on the budget is tentatively scheduled for April 24, town officials said.
