Editor’s note: The Easton Courier asked candidates to submit a profile and a statement discussing three top issues facing Easton and how the candidate will help address them. Irv Silverman, Democratic candidate for Constable, submitted the following response.
Irv Silverman is a second-generation owner of Silverman’s Farm, a 50-year member of the Easton Volunteer Fire Company, a charter member of the Easton Lions Club, and currently an elected constable for the town of Easton. Irv serves on the Agriculture Commission and wants to protect our valuable open spaces as well as the agricultural and residential communities.
