We can all use a little warmth and sunshine in our lives at this time. A wonderful exhibit at the Easton Library Conference Room, Sky, Water, Sand & Beyond, will provide you with just that type of getaway and enjoyment.
You are invited to join us on Thursday, Feb. 8, 4 to 7 p.m., to meet the artist Rick Senft. Rick is an award-winning artist from Milford whose works have been displayed in galleries along the East Coast and are displayed in numerous collections from the United States to Tuscany and Beijing and back again.
Rick has been represented by the Gilded Lily Gallery in Milford for 20 years, showing a variety of land and seascapes, shore birds, commissioned portraits of people, pets, home studies, and everything in between.
He works in oils or acrylics, using a pallet knife or brushes, rendering his subject in any way he sees fit, to enhance the colors nature starts with and give the viewer a chance to see something a little differently.

Rick recently had the opportunity to work with Connecticut singer/songwriter Frank Critelli to illustrate the lyrics of one of his songs into a children’s book entitled “Thanks for Your Understanding,” which gave him the opportunity to utilize his love for cartooning.
