The Easton Public Library has a new friend. Luigi P. Hopper is a little stuffed frog with magnetic feet who is hidden around the Children’s Department, waiting for kids to find him. When they do, they bring him to the Youth Services Librarians and get a stamp.

Luigi came to the library after his predecessor, Morehouse the Dog, went missing last year. While Morehouse can never be replaced, Luigi is a welcome new addition to the library family. You’ll recognize him by his friendly smile and a bright pink nametag.

A contest was held to choose the perfect name for the frog before he made his debut. With so many good options submitted by patrons, the staff voted but could not decide on just one, so Luigi P. Hopper was born.

We hope you visit us soon at the Easton Public Library and meet Luigi P. Hopper for yourself.
