With Election Day fast approaching and Early Voting underway, the Courier has updated its campaign policy. We have already published profiles for candidate in local races and platforms for the two major political parties.
Now that we are in the homestretch, we will publish endorsement letters by Easton residents or former residents, with a limit of 100 words.Â
Endorsement letters tout a candidate or group of candidates and explain why they deserve your vote, not what’s wrong with their opponent.
- Easton residents may write one letter per candidate.Â
- Candidates may not write letters regarding their own races.Â
- Please include a word count, your address and daytime phone number (not for publication).Â
- No political letters will be accepted during the final week before the Nov. 5 election. The cut-off date for submitting endorsement letters is Tuesday, Oct. 29 at noon.
Letters should be sent through the online submission page at EastonCourier.news. If you have trouble using the submission page, you may emai your letter to eastoncourierct@gmail.com.
