Anne Fiyalka left an indelible mark on the Easton community, embodying a life of service, faith, family, friends and adventure. From soaring through the skies with Amelia Earhart to her dedication to the Easton Senior Center and her active role at Notre Dame of Easton, Anne’s life was filled with remarkable moments that inspired all who knew her. To honor her legacy, the Courier is revisiting stories of Anne’s 100-car parade to celebrate her 100th birthday, her commemorative flight through the clouds at the age of 101 and the many lives she touched along the way. Easton residents are forever grateful for her extraordinary presence.
