Ukraine Aid International Update #3

Thank you Easton! You really came through for our sister city Sviatohirsk this past winter, donating more than $7,000 to purchase much-needed electric generators. Plans to purchase the first 10 were underway when priorities suddenly shifted.

Parts of Sviatohirsk are no longer getting deliveries of clean, drinkable water made possible by a truck through USAID. The truck supplied water to those living too far from the town’s water filtration system, also made possible by Easton’s generosity.

Given the defunding of USAID, the truck is no longer available to Sviatohirsk. Water is life and without access to water, the health and well-being of the citizens of Sviatohirsk are now further at risk. To address this crisis, Ukraine Aid International has now re-allocated your generator donations for a replacement delivery truck.

Another Sviatohirsk sister, Ashland, Oregon, has contributed $10,000 so we now have $17,000 to put toward this truck. Another $3,000 to $4,000 will enable UAI to move forward with this purchase.

Look for an upcoming fundraising campaign in the next few days to address this now urgent priority. Of course, you can donate now at www.UkraineAidInternational.org
