We live in the age of “weather vane” politicians—those who change direction with the shifting political winds. Refreshingly, this is NOT Anne Hughes.
Anne fights for the people of the 135th with constancy and integrity, whether it be supporting voting access, police accountability, or disability access to public transportation; a green solar bank, land conservation, or economic development opportunities for farmers; and recently, fighting to hold Connecticut utilities accountable to us, the rate-payers, after their disastrous performance during Hurricane Isaias.
Values and moral courage intact, Anne Hughes is a compass, and for that has earned my support.
