To the Editor:
I was disheartened to read the recent article regarding our need for increased security in our schools during elections. I was not surprised to see that this was in response to the actions of Dana Benson, through the work of the “Save Our Towns” group.
Benson has personally displayed behaviors while gathering data to advance his political agenda that are concerning, and took advantage of the long-term trust established between our voters and our schools.
Currently, Benson is an election moderator in the Town of Easton. An open question to our registrars of voters: Is Dana Benson’s behavior consistent with behavior that would allow him to be a candidate to be a poll worker in the future?
This is a “never event” that cannot be allowed to recur.
