To the Editor:
As an Easton resident for 60+ years and a friend and neighbor of Maureen Williams, I admire her commitment to Easton and the education of our children.
She tutors children in low-income neighborhoods to help them improve their grades and the possibility of grants or scholarships. She lifts families and inspires others. That is the type of person I want in our educational system.
She sees issues impartially. She values civil discourse. She listens with an open heart and mind. She is smart, ethical, and dedicated. We need her.
