Annette E. Norton, age 103, of Easton, beloved wife of the late Wesley Eugene Norton, entered into eternal life on Sunday, December 24, 2023.
Born and raised in South Orange, NJ, Annette attended Virginia Intermont College and worked in the secretarial field for several years. When WW2 ended she went to stewardess school and flew transatlantic flights for TWA. In 1950 she married Wesley and joined him in Easton, where they lived out the rest of their lives. Annette enjoyed gardening, reading, knitting, watching Jeopardy, and was active in the Easton Senior Center.
Annette’s memory will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cheryl Norton, of Easton, Pamela Mueller, of Hayward, WI, and Eugene Norton, and his wife, Michele, of Jacksonville, FL; a stepdaughter, Gay Parks, of Seymour; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving husband, Wesley, Annette was predeceased by her parents, William and Anna Zamow Brown; two brothers, Robert Brown and William Brown, Jr.; and a stepdaughter, Carol Chereski.
Annette’s family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Hartford Healthcare Hospice and her caregiver, Shirley Paramore, for their dedicated and professional care given to Annette.
