MetroCOG is hosting a virtual meeting Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. to give residents a chance to comment on its Southwest Connecticut Climate Action Plan.

The plan outlines actions that will reduce climate pollution along with estimates on the quantities of pollution reduction. The goal of the meeting is to present MetroCOG’s draft measures for the Climate Action Plan. Feedback will ensure the final measures reflect the priorities of the region.

MetroCOG is part of Connecticut Metropolitan Council of Government’s nine planning regions or councils of governments (COGs).

Easton’s COG is MetroCOG, which includes Bridgeport, Stratford, Trumbull, Monroe, Easton and Fairfield.
