From financial wellness to assisted living home care services, the Easton Public Library is offering a variety of programs for adults in April.

On Thursday, April 9 at 11 a.m. the Library will present Technology 101. This is an opportunity to get your computer, smartphone, tablet, and social media questions answered. Participants asked to bring their device(s) to the presentation.

If you have a senior family member who needs care, the Senior Education seminar: Learn How to Stay Independent at Home on Saturday, April 11 at 3:30 p.m. program presented by Assisted Living Home Care Services. Registered Nurse and Certified Senior Advisor Julie Cruz will focus a one-hour discussion on practical, real-world guidance, covering a range of topics.

On Saturday, April 18 at 1:30 p.m, a HeartMath program will be presented by certified trainer Beatriz Blanco. HeartMath is a science-based system that combines techniques and technology to help individuals reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and enhance resilience. It focuses on connecting with the heart’s intelligence and using simple breathing practices to create coherence between the heart, mind, and emotions. Beatriz will introduce HeartMath practices to the participants. During the session, she will cover how to connect with the heart and guide the audience through a couple of simple breathing techniques so they can experience the benefits firsthand.

Carol Edwards-Prescott of Primerica/PFS Investments will present a Financial Wellness program on Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m. The program is designed to educate families on the core principles of money, specifically how to protect income, eliminate debt, build savings, and plan for long term financial security.
